SOURCING NOTES / RETAIL DISPLAYS
A display has a job.
Start there.
For countertop stands, display accessories and commercial hardware, the intended use matters as much as the reference photo.
What will it hold?
Where will it go?
A small retail display enquiry should describe the product it holds, the available counter space and whether it will be used once or repeatedly.
These details affect the material, structure, finish, assembly and protective packing a supplier needs to quote.
This is a current sourcing focus, not a stocked catalogue. Products, supplier capability and availability are checked for each request.

Six details for a more useful display quotation
Size & layout
Overall width, depth and height; number of tiers; usable space and the size of each item being displayed.
Load & stability
Expected weight per shelf, indoor or outdoor use, and any fastening or anti-tip requirements.
Material & finish
Metal, acrylic, wood or mixed materials; colour references, surface finish and any edges that need special treatment.
Branding
Logo position, artwork format, printing method and whether branding needs to be removable or replaceable.
Assembly & packing
Assembled or flat-packed; tools and instructions; protection for fragile surfaces and the preferred carton configuration.
Quantity & destination
Sample quantity, first order quantity, repeat-order expectations, destination country and required arrival date.
Compare quotations on the same basis
Confirm that suppliers quote the same dimensions, material thickness, finish, packing and delivery terms. A lower unit price is difficult to evaluate when these assumptions differ.
Use a sample to settle open questions
Agree which dimensions, colour, finish, load and packing details the sample should demonstrate. Ask about sample cost, production timing and how the approved specification will be recorded before placing an order.
